Millennials:  Understanding Their Perspective to Create New Opportunities

They are the future and they’re here to stay. Millennials are different from their parents and their grandparents, and engaging them presents unique opportunities to their families and the charitable organizations that past generations have supported.  This lively presentation will highlight how millennials work, give, and thrive in the new world and explore what we, as advisers and charities, can do to embrace them.  Using real world examples of success, we’ll explore ways to communicate compelling messages that connect them to your mission.

Presenter

Heidi B. Jark, J.D.

Our 2016 J. Richard Ely Memorial Lecture will be given by Ms. Jark, who serves as the Managing Director, Fifth Third Bank Foundation, Cincinnati, Ohio. Ms. Jark is a past president of the Greater Cincinnati Planned Giving Council, a past president of the Valparaiso University Alumni Association, as well as the former Director of Planned Giving for VU.
